Board of Directors
Aspire's Board of Directors represents a diverse cross-section of our community and brings a variety of experience in nonprofit management, education, business, finance, policy, research, and more. We are also committed to having a Board that reflects the identities, cultures, races, and life experiences of students and families. Among current members, 61% are women, 61% are people of color, and 50% have personal experience with the educational opportunity gap.
In addition to our Board of Directors, we also have a Board Emeritus for members who have completed their terms of service but want to remain involved with Aspire. Among them, they represent 24 years of Aspire’s 32-year history, which provides a wealth of organizational and historical knowledge to inform our future strategy.
