Together, we can close the educational opportunity gap.
The time to invest in our students is now! Our communities thrive when all kids thrive. Without support, historically underserved students could be left behind.
In addition to donating, please consider gifting an Aspire student a holiday present from their hand-picked wish list by 12/13! This helps make the holiday season special for students and relieves the financial burden families face during this season.
Make an impact with a donation today.
By donating today, you’re helping students receive high-quality, holistic, and individualized support that will help them get back on track and have the tools they need to succeed.
Make your gift go further with a monthly donation.
Whether you sign up for a monthly gift of $5 or $50, you will make an immediate impact on a child's life, helping them to overcome the opportunity gap and succeed in school. Learn more about joining Aspire's Honor Roll here.
Everyone has a unique goal for how their donation can make a difference today or in the future for Aspire's students.

A donor-advised fund, which is like a charitable savings account, gives you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often money is granted to Aspire Afterschool Learning and other charities. You may qualify for a federal income tax charitable deduction at the time you contribute to the account.
You can transfer cash or other assets from your donor-advised fund to a tax-exempt sponsoring organization like Aspire Afterschool Learning. You can then recommend – but not direct – how much and how often money is granted. You can recommend a one-time grant or recurring grant by contacting your administrator.
Aspire is a 501(c)(3) corporation; federal tax I.D. #54-1705642.
Making a gift of appreciated stock to Aspire is a smart and tax-efficient way to give. You receive a charitable income tax deduction for the fair market value of the shares you give and you avoid the capital gains tax you would have incurred by selling the stock.
Aspire processes stock gifts through the Arlington Community Foundation. To make a gift of stock please complete this simple online stock transfer instruction form. Please credit this gift to Aspire Afterschool Learning (you will have to select Other and write it in). If you are making your gift at the end of the year, we recommend directing the transfer prior to December 15th to ensure your gift is completed before year-end.
Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs), also known as IRA Charitable Rollovers, are a way for individuals age 70½ or older to use their IRAs to maximize their charitable impact. Please report your gift details to our team so that we can verify your gift and provide you with your tax acknowledgment letter.
Here’s how it works:
- You must be 70½ or older.
- The gift must be transferred directly from your IRA administrator to Aspire Afterschool Learning.
- The amount of the gift can be up to $100,000 each year.
- The gift will not be reportable as taxable income.
- Your gift can satisfy all or part of your required minimum distribution for the year if you are over age 72.
Please consider seeking advice from your financial advisor or tax professional to understand how recent changes to laws governing retirement plans may impact you and your charitable gift.
Whether you would like to put your donation to work today or benefit us after your lifetime, you can find a charitable plan to provide for your family and support Aspire Afterschool Learning.
We hope that you will choose to inform us of your gift (and you may absolutely keep the amount or details confidential) so that we may extend to you our sincere thanks, as well as ensure that your gift will be used as you intend.
