Student Wish List: Make the Holiday Season Magical for an Aspire Students

The holidays are right around the corner, and we’d really appreciate your help in ensuring that all of our students receive gifts that will make their holiday season extra special. How can you help? You can buy a present for an Aspire student from their hand-picked wish list!

Every December, Aspire organizes a family holiday party, which is just one of the ways we integrate our values of connection and fun & caring into everything we do. Holidays can be hard for Aspire families, so Aspire’s party is designed to bring some extra joy to our students and families. This fun holiday event ensures that students receive a gift and a new book, families participate in activities like cookie decorating, and everyone enjoys a potluck dinner that reflects the rich cultural diversity of Aspire families.

Our students were overjoyed with all their gifts last year, and one of them shared, “I really wanted this, but my parents wouldn’t have been able to get it for me.“ This year, our students had a wonderful time picking out one book and one other present to add to the wish list, and they’re eagerly looking forward to the holiday party where they get to open their gifts. Their list includes stuffed animals, art supplies, slime kits, sports merchandise, robots, and more!

Already 200 of these gifts have already been purchased for students, but there are still over 120 gifts left to be purchased and not much time left. If you want to make the season extra special for an Aspire student, please consider purchasing a gift off of their wish list. Note: The wish list will close on 12/8 to ensure that we have everything in time for the holiday party.

A few notes on this year’s student wish list: 

  • All gifts are selected through our Amazon registry so that it’s easy for us to track progress.
  • When ordering a gift, please click on the address option that says “Aspire Afterschool” at checkout.
