Tsion Mamo graduated from Scripps College with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics. She began her journey with Aspire as an AmeriCorps member in early 2024 and transitioned to our staff as a Program Coordinator in September 2024. Having immigrated to Arlington from Ethiopia at the age of five, Tsion resonates deeply with many of the students she serves. As a first-generation student who navigated her own educational path with limited support, she understands the critical importance of having guidance throughout the learning journey. In her role as Program Coordinator at Aspire’s Randolph Elementary School location, Tsion is committed to bridging educational gaps and fostering a safe, supportive environment where all students can thrive.
