A graduate from The Savannah College of Art and Design, Celia is passionate about art and community development. She is an artist in residence at Palette 22, and exhibits her recycled magazine collages at galleries and organizations such as Project Create, The Nepenthe Gallery and Del Rey Artisans.
With over 15 years of experience working with the arts and youth, Celia has previously worked at City Arts assisting artists and city youth to create large scale murals in Manhattan as well as Kidzone TV as a set designer at Mt. Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital.
Celia started out at Aspire as an AmeriCorps member teaching a 2nd and 3rd grade class. She continues her passion for giving back to the community as the Art Program Coordinator.
