Spread the Word and Make Your Voice Heard

Thank you for your partnership and support of Aspire! We’ve put together this toolkit with resources you can use to advocate for Aspire and speak out in support of AmeriCorps and out-of-school time programs.
If you have questions, please contact Aspire’s Communications and Development Manager, Maggie McCoy, at maggie@aspireafterschool.org.
For media/press inquiries, please contact Aspire’s Executive Director, Paula Fynboh, at paula@aspireafterschool.org or 202-813-2140.
Share Aspire’s updates:
Read Aspire’s updates about AmeriCorps funding cuts and our plans moving forward. You can send this link to people you know to help raise awareness about what’s going on and inspire them to get involved.
Call your elected officials:
Voices for National Service has a great simple call script and instructions. This is an important way to share more about your personal experience with AmeriCorps as an alumni, supporter, or program partner.
Email your representatives:
You can also email your Members of Congress and urge them to sustain funding for afterschool and summer programs using Afterschool Alliance’s email tool with questions.
Email your Members of Congress in less than two minutes using Voices for National Service’s Contact Congress email tool.
