Kailee McAlister graduated with dual majors in Peace, War, and Defense, with a concentration in International Security and Intelligence, and Psychology, alongside a minor in Women and Gender Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2025. Currently, she is pursuing her Masters in International Development with a concentration in Humanitarian Policy and Practice from the School of International Service at American University. Kailee joined Aspire April of 2026 as our Development and Outreach AmeriCorps VISTA member to build Aspire’s capacity by expanding communication and outreach to a broader network of community partners and donors, coordinating resource development for fundraising and grant efforts, and promoting community engagement. Kailee is dedicated to community focused development and ensuring services are provided to those in need.
