John is a dynamic and experienced educator with a passion for literacy and reading comprehension. After attending George Mason University with a Major in Theater and Dramaturgy, John went through the Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes program, providing and directing an intensive literacy program in several charter school in the District of Columbia, and serving a diverse group of students of all ages in Fairfax, Virginia. In addition to his literacy expertise, John is a lifelong improv performer and table top game designer who excels in finding a way to make anything and everything fun and motivating for the students he serves. As a Program Instructor at Aspire’s Randolph Elementary site, he fosters a passion for learning through engaging lessons and providing students with support in reading, math, and social emotional skills.
